Year 2000 Policies

Cleo has used the following guidelines to determine Year 2000 readiness:

1. Calculations will execute using dates with a four-digit year.

2. Functionality, on-line or batch, including but not limited to, entry, inquiry, maintenance, and update will support four-digit year processing.

3. Interfaces and reports will support four-digit year processing.

4. Transition to the Year 2000 using the correct system date will occur without re-coding or rebooting.

5. After transition to the Year 2000 processing with a four-digit year will occur without re-coding.

6. Correct results in forward and backward date calculations spanning century boundaries will be provided.

7. Leap year will be properly calculated.

Interface Systems [now DFI, Inc.] has verified that all of its current Interface and Cleo products comply with these guidelines.  All new products will be verified to comply with these same guidelines before they are released.  All internal systems have been tested comply with to these guidelines.

All internal systems that do not comply with these guidelines will be either upgraded or replaced in advance of their affecting our operations.
