FastSync® 3780 Enhancements |
Many new modem interfaces have been integrated into the FastSync 3780 program including several V.32 (9,600 bps) thru and V.34+ (33,600 bps) modems. The SyncPack2000e is the latest package which provides 3780 BSC protocol at 33,600bps without the use of a synchronous interface card and costs only $1,295.
33.6 Kbps capability over standard dial-up phone lines is possible using the Motorola V3260FAST modem. For more information on CTI supported products, Click Here.
The use of variables in the FastSync 3780 program has been greatly expanded...
variables may be either read from or written to files
new variables added
variables may be used anywhere in commands
An error option has been added which allow for subsequent specific actions to be taken if command does not complete normally.
A new program called CMDLINE.EXE allows the user to set "constant" command line arguments (e.g., to always run a report log, include a trace file, to send the modem a certain HEX string, to specify a particular IRQ, etc.) rather than have to include a separate argument each time a command line argument is initiated, or to have to include them within the CMD file; in order to over-ride the actions specified in the CMDLINE program, the user has a new command line argument NOEXT to suppress what's specified in the CMDLINE program. Click here for details.
The user may limit the number of files which may be received with a single .RCVE command.
A restart capability has been added to .SEND and .RCVE commands.
