Terms & Conditions for this Order
Please carefully read and then sign these two pages and send them along with your company check to CTI for processing. Final approval of this Agreement is at CTI's discretion.
1. All payments are made by either company check or money order. Your payment must clear our bank in advance of shipment.
2. This ORDER FORM must be filled out and returned to our company. We must have a signed copy in our office before product shipment.
3. EVALUATIONS: There are no Evaluations. All Modems are tested and in working order prior to shipment. Your company understands that the Okidata modem is specific to the Bell 208a/b 4,800 Baud specification and will NOT operate within the later CCITT/ITU "V" series environments (for example V32, V.32bis, V.34, V.34+ and V.90).
4. The Okidata 208 CLD Modem requires a Synchronous interface device (either an internal sync card or the CLEO SyncCable+) in order to operate. These modems will NOT operate using an Asynchronous serial port. Further, you must have appropriate software (for example, 3780 binary synchronous communications (BSC) software). In addition, the software you plan on using is usually specifically "ported" to operate with the Okidata modem through your particular synchronous interface card (SIC).
5. The Okidata 208 CLD Modems are new and in original shipping containers along with user documentation. Each modem is tested and in working order prior to shipment from CTI. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
6. Warranty. There is NO WARRANTY on the Okidata modems. Therefore, CTI offers a second Okidata modem for half price only at the time of the initial purchase for possible use in the future. CTI strongly recommends that you use a separate surge protector (click for details) on the Okidata modem.
7. BAD CHECKS, COLLECTION FEES: You will be responsible for any fees associated with the collection of your account as well as any related charges such as attorney fees, court costs, or collection service fees assessed for the burden of the collection of your account.
