CTI Communications and Cleo Communications join forces to offer LexiCom, the software package includes linkage for Hosts requiring AS2, FTP, s/FTP, HTTP and Secure HTTP/s File Transfers.  The Cleo LexiCom software package lets trading partners securely transfer critical business documents to and from their widely distributed trading partners over the Internet, VANs, or other specialized TCP/IP networks. Users can transfer and receive everything from POs, invoices, and shipping notices to insurance claims, medical records, clinical data, retail reports, and more. Users can also schedule transmissions to occur automatically, at whatever intervals required.  The package offers many features and capabilities:
  • Works with the major trading community networks.
  • Uses proven IP protocols FTP, HTTP and EDIINT AS2 allowing users to communicate with multiple trading partners.
  • Integration with the leading EDI software packages reduces operator-training time.
  • Pre-configuration offers quick set-up.
  • Operates on PCs, Unix and AS/400 computers
  • Built-in security protects proprietary transactions.
  • "100% Java" makes it platform independent.
  • Perpetual log file monitors and verifies all transmissions.

AS2 (Applicability Statement 2 protocol) helps users connect, deliver, validate and reply to data that trading partners move securely through the Internet.  This protocol thereby establishes a standard point-to-point connection in B2B (Business to Business) document transactions.

CTI Communications and GXS become Partners.  The companies are working together to provide bisynchronous, asynchronous, FTP, HTTP secure integration solutions and various mainframe computers and value-added networks.  CTI products and services enable both large and small companies to move data files to and from host mainframe systems using PCs.   Com-Link, one of CTI’s software products, for example, becomes integrated inside GXS' Application Integrator program and is afterward seamless to the user.

CTI Communications introduces EBMX for DaimlerChrysler Suppliers.  This specially developed software product by CTI Communications is a client side application that allows DaimlerChrysler suppliers to obtain and deliver EDI, XML and other proprietary document data formats over the internet using SSI (Secure Socket Layer).  SSI uses certificates (public/private key encryption) to verify the identity of the person you are connected to, and then encrypts document exchanges.  The $1,595 program operates in conjunction with other CTI programs such as the SyncPack2000e

CTI Communications introduces a new, low cost, add-on software program called CTI-CTX to interface into the DaimlerChrysler Corporation.  The CTI-CTX program is available to any supplier to Chrysler Corporation needing an easy, simple access to their Chrysler Telecommunication's eXchange (CTX) for purposes of sending and/or receiving EDI and/or Financial documents.  According to CTI, the CTI-CTX program takes the work out of establishing the EDI link into Chrysler's worldwide telecommunications network.  "Normally, a user would only need to use the traditional "Phase" approval method, but this can be can be long and frustrating" according to John Eilertsen, President of CTI.  The $595 CTI-CTX add-on program does the work and provides an on-going simple user interface.  The program operates in conjunction with other CTI programs such as the SyncPack2000e

Speedchoice and CTI partner.  SpeedChoice offers businesses a cost-effective solution for networking needs that saves time and money while increasing productivity.  The product offers small, medium, and large businesses data downloads at megabit speeds.  In comparison, if air travel was accelerated by the same factor, a passenger could fly across the country, coast-to-coast, in less than ten minutes.

Speedchoice partnered with CTI Communications because of CTI's Store-and-Forward Mailbox System (call FastSync) that brings the necessary manageability to the speed capabilities.  In other words, you have perfect audit trails to track all your files along with the status of each file (size, when sent, when picked-up, when archived, etc.).

CTI presents its TCP/IP FastSync® Mailbox System, a third-generation solution designed for the fast, secure transmission of large data file.
