Store-and-Forward FastSync® Mailbox System Overview

For moving EDI, E-Commerce, Legal Documents, Medical Records, Financial Documents, Engineering CAD Drawings, Insurance Records, Multimedia Data, and other data oriented applications

Store-and-Forward file transfer technology is ideal for moving various type of files between locations, institutions, divisions, departments, vendors, suppliers, medical facilities and so forth.  CTI's FastSync® store-and-forward mailbox system gives operations a way to exchange data files quickly between inside and outside locations using either internal LAN/WAN links or high-speed modems over either standard dial-up or ISDN telephone lines --- no more delivering paper documents, floppy disks, cutting mag-tapes or midnight deliveries.

For example, the large Automotive OEMs (GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, etc.), are of companies who use Store-and-Forward file transfer technologies for moving their Engineering CAD (Computer Aided Design) drawings files between their suppliers.  Hundreds to thousands of megabytes of data are moved through their store-and-forward mailbox systems every day between Engineering and their Automotive supplier base.  Click for Toyota Corporation example.

The FastSync Mailbox System provides a total file management audit trail for every file sent and/or received within the super hub system.   For example - who sent what and when - was the transmission successful - was it picked-up by the receiving party - when and where were the files archived - when were the files purged from the system - etc.  The FastSync Mailbox system is a powerful, microprocessor oriented Data Management and Store-and-Forward system that supports data transmissions in a very secure client/server virtual FTP server application environment that would otherwise have to be handled by an expensive mainframe computer system.   Click here for more rationale.

The Store-and-Forward Mailbox System may also be used as a Value-Added-Network (VAN).  Click here to see VAN details.
