We have taken the following Year 2000 Compliance information directly from the Hayes Web Site for your review.

Hayes is engaged in an ongoing review of the Year 2000 compatibility of its hardware and software product offerings. All current models of our modems are "date independent" and contain no date-related functionality. In addition, all current hardware and software products will function correctly into the next century, provided all other computer products used with them (including the BIOS support for DOS/Windows) exchange accurate date information. The most up-to-date list of products which are either date independent or Year 2000 compliant are listed below.

Certain Hayes software is currently being modified to correctly present date information obtained from the operating system in a four-digit format such that the date is unambiguous. This is a presentation change with no impact on functionality. Revised software will be provided with future products. Date display upgrades for products currently in production as of October 1997 will be provided upon request as they become available.

Please keep in mind that third-party software, hardware and services, including products which are bundled with Hayes products, are excluded from this statement. For confirmation of compliance regarding any bundled or other third-party products, please contact the software, hardware or service provider directly.
